Girls Who Code Overnight Camp at Thomas College

Calling all middle and high school students—get ready for an unforgettable coding adventure!

The Girls Who Code Overnight Camp at Thomas College is a unique opportunity to learn computer science, build real-world tech skills, and connect with a supportive community. Whether you're a beginner or have some coding experience, this camp is designed to help you gain confidence, explore STEM careers, and have fun!

Throughout the week, students will participate in hands-on coding projects, hear from industry professionals, and participate in team-building activities—all while experiencing campus life at Thomas College.

Who Can Attend? This camp is designed to support middle and high school girls, non-binary students, and students of color, but male allies are welcome. Please note that overnight accommodations are gender-specific, and we will do our best to accommodate all participants.

Students are encouraged to bering ther own device to bring to camp, such as a laptop or tablet. If technology is a barrier, please email Shelby at shelby@educatemaine.org. We are happy to help accommodate.

​​Students in Grades 6-12, join us for our full-day camp at The Roux Institute!

Join us for an exciting week of coding exploration at our Girls Who Code Summer Camp! Throughout the week, participants dive into coding, developing foundational skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Highlights of the camp include:

  • Engaging coding sessions designed to spark creativity and problem-solving.
  • Interactive activities and projects that foster collaboration and critical thinking.
  • A captivating mid-week field trip, providing hands-on exposure to technology in action.
  • A culminating showcase on the last day, where students proudly present their projects and accomplishments.

Don't miss out on this opportunity for your child to explore the exciting world of coding with Girls Who Code!

Parents/students must provide their transportation to camp and bring their laptop, iPad, or device. If transportation or technology is a barrier, please email Shelby at shelby@educatemaine.org. We are happy to help accommodate.
